HeartCode BLS Online Part 1 has become a popular way to complete a BLS course for the first time, especially during the COVID19 Pandemic. However AHA HeartCode BLS is a great course format choice for student's looking to renew their AHA eCard, making the BLS provider course completion card valid for two years once again. MEDICAL SIMULATION CONCEPT even plans to roll out HeartCode BLS Complete, where students can experience a self-service part 2 hands-on skills session. In which students completing the online portion, will then book a time to perform part 2 and 3 on the Automated RQI Station. This fully automated RQI station, even issues the BLS for Healthcare Provider eCard automatically. HEARTCODE BLS SKILLS SESSION INFORMATION
BLS HeartCode Skills Session is geared towards not just healthcare professionals, but the general public in positions of high risk. Students begin with completing HeartCode BLS Online Part 1 through the AHA eLearning Website, upon completing the Online Portion. Students are then required to complete parts 2 and 3, which consist of the skills session. Then testing and issuance of the official AHA BLS Provider eCard, students that attend the skills session but do not participate in the hands-on portion. May still be eligible for the AHA BLS Advisor eCard, make sure to check with your employer or licensor in regards to which eCard will meet your needs. Students must purchase the current 2020 BLS Provider Course Manual or eBook, as required by the American Heart Association. This textbook or eBook can be used during testing, so it is to your advantage to purchase it. American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Skills Sessions, must be registered for through the MEDICAL SIMULATION CONCEPT website. The day of the course instructors will contact students not in attendance by phone, email and text. Attendance and roll call roughly happens 15 to 30 minutes before the start time. If multiple students are in attendance of a skills session, each student will have access to their own equipment and materials. Then in about 30-45 minutes with one of our veteran instructors or RQI stations and you're on the way.

AHA BLS and CPR Blended Learning seems to be holding its position, students still prefer to get a little of both types of learning under their belt. The other reason is that the Online Part 1 of the HeartCode BLS Online can be completed even from a smartphone, however HeartCode Part 2 Skills Session still requires the use of CPR equipment. Students that also prefer a in the flesh instructor to review anything that was missed online, is another reason to take the HeartCode BLS Skills Session through MEDICAL SIMULATION CONCEPT. The Instructor can even assist students that have completed the hands-on portion, claiming or printing out their official BLS Provider eCard right at the class. MEDICAL SIMULATION CONCEPT provides each student with a 2 pocket folder containing the required class skills sheets, AHA fee disclaimer, BLS test answer sheet and more. Basically everyone passes our course, we have easy test taking and plenty of help with remediation. The COVID19 event was something no one was prepared for and a-lot of BLS Training Sites and Centers have had to close down. Students attending the HeartCode BLS Skills Session are required:
- Must be at-least 18 years of age or with an adult
- Purchase the 2020 BLS Provider Manual or eBook
- Completed the HeartCode BLS Online Part 1
- Select a instructor-led classroom location for Skills
- Provide a First Name, Last Name, Email and Phone Number
- Be on time to attend – Tardiness of 15 minutes or less considered
- Cancel within 48 hours of class date for a full refund or reschedule twice
